The First Eurasian Multidisciplinary Forum was held with the mutual collaboration of Grigol Robakidze University together, European Scientific Institute and the University of the Azores (Portugal).
The opening ceremony of the Forum was held in the hotel “Holiday Inn” on October 24, 2013. Besides Georgian and foreign scholars, the opening ceremony was attended by the director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement Elene Jibladze, advisor to the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues Tamar Gamilagdishvili and other invited guests.
The Rector of Grigol Robakidze University, Professor Mamuka Tavkhelidze opened the event. Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement Elene Jibladze, Vice-Rector of Grigol Robakidze University Nino Kemertelidze and President of European Scientific Institute Jovan Shopovski welcomed the participant and the guest. Keynote speakers were: Dr. Kirby R. Cundiff, Rochester Institute of Technology, USA and Dr. Jan Walkeens, Stenden University, the Netherlands.
Together with Georgia scholars, outstanding scientists from 35 countries (UK, USA, Macedonia, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Ukraine, Greece, Jordan, Iran, etc.) working in difference spheres of science participated in the Forum and worked during three days.
Within the scope of the Forum, the sections worked at Grigol Robakidze University on October 25 – 26, 2013.
The Forum was remarkable not only for the fact that the representatives of so many countries participated in it, but also for its multidisciplinary character, otherwise saying scholars of different countries were able to get acquainted with the achievements gained in various spheres of science, share with each other the results of their researches and experience.
The Forum was very successful. The event completed with gala dinner.
