On May 19, within the framework of the Tbilisi 13th International Dental Congress very interesting master class will be held.
The main task of dental treatment procedures is to restore the lost function, and preventive measures – to maintain functional stability.
The jaw-dental system is not a fixed system, it is the most important link of the bony and muscular skeleton. Accordingly, skeletal and muscular anomalies and deformations, harmful living habits (sitting position, manner of walking, sedentary lifestyle, constant tilting of the head due to the phone), dental restorations, whether therapeutic or orthopedic and orthodontic treatment in the temporomandibular joint and, accordingly, the jaw- Causes changes in the dental system. Therefore, the course is informative not only for orthodontists and orthopedists, but also for therapists.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the attending audience will go through each stage of diagnosis with the speaker on a real patient.
On a masterclass we will perform the diagnostic procedure – Axiography, or as it often called Jaw tracking
We will use sdimatrix hardware and software to record patients’ jaw dynamics, natural head position with digital face bow and digitize different bite registrations in order to align these data with IOS and CBCT in order to
diagnose the condition of the TMJ, occlusion and plan diagnostic position of the jaw with the ability to do functional wax-up based on dynamic data.
