VII GSA International Congress was held on July 8-9, in Batumi at the hotel “Intourist Palace”. More then 300 attendees from different countries attended the congress.
The greeting speeches were held by the president of GSA Prof. George Menabde, executive director of GSA International Congress Prof. Vladimer Margvelashvili and by some foreign guests.
There were 3 different sessions at the congress, held in 3 different conference halls. At session of Maxilo-facial surgery and implantology interesting presentation were made by Dr.David Keinan; Dr. Mohamed Zahalka Prof. George Menabde; Prof. Iaroslav Zabotsky; Prof. Julia Chumakova; Prof.Hermann Shnorbakh ; Dr.Oleg Pritula and Dr. Djabar Hasanov.
At the second session interesting lectures were held about following points in conservative dentistry: ”Modern working technique with Dentsply new rotary system instruments ” (speaker DDr. Murat Savur); ”Nanofiller optimized plastic ceramics” ( speaker Dr. Victor Daug); ”Restorations in dentistry with VII generation composite resins ” (speaker Dr. Elena Mendoza ; “Modern Concepts of Endodontics” (speaker Dr. Joana Kalf ); ”Human stem cells and the future of dentistry” (speaker Dr. Mariam Margvelashvili); “Modern principals of drug allergy management”(speaker Prof. Rusudan Karseladze).
At same time Dentsply hands-on master-class ”Endodontic treatment with modern NiTi rotary instruments ProTaper Universal ” was held. Participants worked hands-on on endoblocks with Dentsply ProTapers and Path Files. Participants were given Dentsply certificats e and endodontic sets Endo4You.
Dental companies : ”Elkamed”, ”STSG”; ”Dental-master.ge”; ”Alfa-dent”; ”Planmeca”; ”Alfa-gate”; ”GPC”; ”Euromedex France” participated in dental materials exhibition, that was held within the GSA Congress program.
